LORAC LITTLE LACE PALETTES

Happy wednesday!

We had our first mini snowstorm today and then it changed into rain. Walking in slush is no fun!

Last month I bought on Hautelook two Lorac little lace palettes. I bought the pro palette in august and I fell in love it with, so I wanted to try other items for Lorac.

They were 12$ each (a 70$ value).

They are very small (fits in the palm of your hand). Has a nice packaging (red with black lace).

It contains 8 eyeshadows, 6 are a mix of matte, shimmer, pearl shades and two brow highlights.

Smolder

Colors: champagne, silver, dark blue, pink, dark purple and a charcoal, a white and pinkish/beige brow highlights.

Ravish

The colors: peach, gold, brown, dark emerald, deep brown shimmer and a dark brown, a light beige and champagne brow highlights.

They are pigmented, there is some fallout but not too much. The colors are great, the Ravish is a great palette for fall and the Smolder for winter and even spring.
The only downside is that there is no transition colors so you have to fetch out from your collection.

Here's the look I did using the Ravish ( I used the last three colors and the beige highlight) and I used a Sephora medium brown for transition.

This palette was on sale in october and november so l'm sure it will come back before xmas.

Take care!!!

AVON GILDED TREASURES MAKEUP SET

Happy sunday everyone!

There is a makeup/jewelry box set that is on sale in the Avon brochure. It's the Gilded Treasures makeup set at 49.99$ cnd (95$ value). it's a pretty silver with shimmer and can be used as a jewelry box.

It comes with 16 eyeshadows, 4 blushes, a miror, one black eyeliner, 3 lipglosses and a bronzer brush.

The lipglosses all have shimmer in them and very sheer: light peach, light mauve and a light pink.

They are very sheer, they are not sticky. For my skintone they don't show but very useful as a top for my lipsticks.

The bronzer is a nice  medium bwon with a light shimmer. The brush ia a half-moon and very soft.

The black pencil is a basic black.

The eyeshadows are separated in  set of 4 and are in  two drawers there's also  a blush next to them.

1st quad consist of a yellow, purple, a light green a a medium blue. The yellow and the blue are mattes.

The second quad: orange/peach, blue/purple, reddish brown and a emerald. They are more pearl and satin finishes.

The two blushes: one coral and one champagne.

Third quad: matte lavender, dark lavender (shimmer), gold shimmer (a little chunky), matte dark purple.

Fourth quad: matte brown, pearl chocolate, shimmer forest green (chunky) and a dark cranberry with brown undertone (pearl)

Two blushes: matte berry and a light purple.

I used the last quad, the light purple as a blush and the pink lipgloss.

It's a very good makeup set, the eyeshadows are pigmented, the gold shimmer and the forest green are a bit chunky and as a little bit of fallour nothing to really complain about. The lipsgloss are very sheer on me but are still useful. The blushes are great but the light berry doesn't show on my skin but in person it gives a little bit of shimmer on my cheeks.

I would buy this as a gift, it's at a great price, the packaging is cute and it becomes a very nice jewelry box!

 It's a pearl/shimmer quad that features a champagne/peach, a yellow/green, a orange and a cranberry (I don't know why but on my swatch it looks more purple)

It's a great quad for spring/autumn or in my case anytime! They are so soft to the touch. Can't wait to try this one!

Winter is creeping up on us soon.. are you guys ready!

Have a good one!
